There are always events going on in City Market and Moore Square!

City Market is the shopping, dining, retail and office center located between Martin Street, Blount Street, and Person Street.

Moore Square Park is directly next to City Market and is bordered by Person Street, Blount Street, Hargett Street and Martin Street.

Special events happen either on the cobblestone streets of City Market, on the greens of Moore Square, or on the surrounding streets!

First Friday Gallery Walk
On the first Friday of each month stroll the streets of historic City Market and celebrate great art, music, and shopping! Retail stores, restaurants and art galleries open their doors for extended hours and the galleries all over the area have receptions for opening works by various artists. Local bands perform free concerts in front of Big Ed's City Market Restaurant. The bands play from 7:30 until 10:30 p.m.

Movies In The Park
Bring your lawn chairs, picnic baskets, popcorn, blankets (no alcohol please).
Presented by Raleigh Convention Center.
Location: Moore Square Park.
Time: Dusk (around 8:30 pm) every other Saturday.
